Dear Readers,
I was alone to discuss the plans for the next coming weeks. I spoke to you all about my trip to London, the upcoming interview with Brandon Dailey and discussed the ongoing rap aggression with Machine Gun Kelly, Eminem and G Easy. I have also spoken that although I'm not familiar with Mac Miller's music, its unfortunate that he died and I hope he rests in peace. I apologize that this is a short post, but a follow up post is coming so stay tuned. Podcast coming up tonight.
Have a good night!

Apology
Dear Readers,
I last had my marvelous friend Serena Kyle on the show and we talked about LA. I was supposed to be going to LA recently and Serena was really excited. See she is blind and had asked me to make videos of LA and we went over the list in the last episode. Unfortunately there was some issues about going and staying there. I'm am eternally sorry for not being able to give Serena what she needed.
The idea was that through these videos, the people that can see will appreciate that they are able to see because others cannot. That is not to say that men and women without sight or other senses can"t accomplish some pretty spectacular things. I've seen and heard Serena and many others do some amazing things despite what is hindering them.
I will be following up sometime this year, but gain I apologize for letting you and my audience down. I will keep you posted.
With love,
Nykki

Interview with Aubrey Remeur
Dear Readers,
This week I decided I was going to interview Aubrey Remeur, the rapper that I was telling you about, from Michigan.
His dedication and passion to his music landed him a few spots on the Hot N1M Charts here in the United States for his
song "Die For You". This song made #2 in hiphop and in all genres in Michigan and also hit #21 for hiphop, #68 in all genres in the US.
He is very talented and really has potential. I had a fun time interviewing him. It's like he has a kind of hidden fire that he channels through his music beautifully. He is very down to earth and I have alot of confidence in his music.
I chose his song "Underground" because I really liked the beat drop and the lyrics really mean something to me.
His ambitions and passions continues to inspire me to do my show and really make the most of it. He and Brandon were very enjoyable to interview and I hope to have them both back on the show soon.
His show aired on 08/11/2018 at 7:30 pm and the podcast is already up. I apologize for the delays, I'm doing alot right now.
Thank you Aubrey and Audience. I can't do this show without amazing guests and a loyal audience. I appreciate you all.

Interview with Nykole Garland
Dear Readers,
This is so inspirational. It is raining outside. I felt the water plastered to my skin and it was a good thing. It was
a good thing indeed. What else was a good thing was the Interview that me and my best friend did. Because I wanted it to be a surprised this article with not be released until after the 10th episode is aired on August 5th.
I think it turned out to be amazing. So my best friend (Elijah) and I have been friends for 5 years. We were talking about reminiscing about
high school and middle school. I thought it was a wonderful idea, but I knew that interviewing him wouldn't cut it for me.
I was doing laundry at a friends house when I came up with a brilliant idea. It would be a first and last time I do this.
I decided to let Elijah interview me instead.
It was awkward at first, because Elijah was learning the way I was running my show. I am so proud of him. He called me
the night before we were supposed to record the piece. He said he couldn't do it and that the words didn't seem to suit
him. I told him not to give up, not because I needed the show but because I didn't want to see him quit at something he
was getting ahead at. I told him I want him to change it up see what works and what doesn't for him. I want him to do
what he needed to the script. He was the host. I didn't want him to do the show my way. This was his show episode. This
encouraged him and he really went out on this one. I'm impressed that he stuck with it. He was nervous but he did a
wonderful job and asked wonderful questions. I'm also impressed that he not only brought character and feeling to the
show, but also managed to challenge me on a deep and personal level. I knew the questions beforehand but he switched
order and rephrasing of those questions and really taught me that in my job I need to be prepared for anything someone
throws at me. We spent an hour on rehearsing and recording it. I'm so inspired by him and there are a lot of lessons he
teaches me.
I was really nervous, but Elijah was right. My viewers need to know who their host is or they don't know who to be loyal
with. I had a fun time even though I was uncomfortable being the one answering the questions. He admitted to me that
although it was fun he would never want to do what I do and I agree neither I wouldn't be a barber (no offence, Elijah).
Thank you, Elijah and Readers/Audience.

Interview with DJ Shakta
Dear Readers,
DJ Shakta Mama Spin Queen has a very spiritual personality and seems to be very in tune with herself in and out of the studio. She brings energy in the KVAN studio and really loves what she does. She is a firm believer of family and Creator united. She actively pursues peace and serenity in her personal life. Her and KVAN combine forces to get unheard artists a chance to be listened to and works to create the foundation and principles with which KVAN is all about.
KVAN is a radio station here in Tucson (91.7 FM) that strives for individuality, spirituality and creativity. They work so hard to achieve their atmosphere to be as peaceful and enjoyable as possible while they work together in the studio. They play Cosmopop with rich sound quality. I mean would you listen to a song without really good sound quality and you can't hear what the dj is trying to say? I hope the answer is no because here at KVAN, you will find that they work to make each show very professional and incredible.
Being in the studio is definitely a different experience. They were serious about this interview and I got to record on their wonderful equipment. I was nervous at first, but the words slipped out easier than I thought they would be. I slipped up a couple times which I'm sure they can edit out. Thank you for technology. I was afraid we might run out of time before I had all my questions answered. Thankfully we were 5 minutes early and due to the power of editing which it was on our side today two more questions were added. I had a really good time. DJ Shakta is a very strong, beautiful and successful woman and I'm so grateful for the opportunity to interview her. Thank you Mama Spin Queen! Be sure to tune in to kvan.FM wherever you are, Monday through Friday, and into my show (Intellectual Thoughts of a Teenage Girl) on July 29th 2018 @ 7:30 p.m. or 10:30 p.m. depending on where you live. If you missed the show, be sure to be on the lookout for podcast information on my site and from my Facebook.
Have a wonderful evening,
Love,

Interview with Brandon Dailey
Brandon Daley is a friend of mine in Tucson. He is a local rapper and really enjoys what he does. He has a single out now called Good Vibes on SoundCloud the link will be below.
Follow him there and on Facebook as iambdaily. He's very influential down here in Tucson for the way he expresses himself and speaks his truth. I'm so excited to be interviewing him on my show to engage him in my audience into a third open Forum question on my show. I will be learning about his job and what it is he does in his everyday life.
What does he love most about his job? Why did he choose to be a rapper? And other questions will be answered this Sunday on July 8th. Tune in at 7:30 p.m. at
Feel free to catch up on my recent shows at intellectualthoughtsofateengirl.blogspot.com.
I was really nervous. This was my first big interview. I was doing in front of another person and I made him sit on the floor lol for the majority of the interview. I think Brandon and I really had chemistry on the show and I think we did a really good job despite being anxious to fit everything in on time and it timed itself really well. I'd love to have him back on the show soon.
Be sure to tune in and if you missed it the podcast information is on the website above.
Have a good morning,
Love,
Nykki
