Shon Lay and I have been friends for less than a year, but he is one of my closest friends. He was born in China but he was raised all over the places and because his dad sent him postcards from all over the world, he was really grown to love aviation and travel. His love for aviation made him decide to become a flight attendant. He loves his job and loves what he does. He and I have very intellectual conversations about real world topics so you will be getting an idea into the conversations we are having off air.
We will be talking about domestic violence abusers and gun laws in a flawed system. This is a delicate subject to brush on but yet complicated in the sense that 30 minutes is not enough let alone 10 minutes. That being said I will try my hardest to make sure everything is in order. To wind down from this deep topic, we will talk about the ins and outs of his job so if you are interested please tune into Global Community Radio at Sunday, June 10th at 7:30 Pacific/10:30 Eastern.
I was really excited to interview him. It was my first interview for the show I was a little nervous. I think it honestly went well. It was a little awkward because I live near the fire department and the sirens were going so I had to pause the show and tell Shon to hold on. Shon and I could talk about this topic for hours and we had to be mindful of time. It was awkward but it was fun. I really love what I do and I appreciate Shin for coming on the show and speaking about his opinions and really standing out. I chose the topic and I felt really bossy telling that this is what I wanted to talk about. Fortunately, he is very patient and understanding. That being said the next time he comes on the show, we will talking about a topic that he would to talk about. Thank you for coming on the show and I look forward to having you back soon, Shon.
